2. properly organize files in subfolders

3. thumbnails for gallery should be the same size. work with a psd template

4. lightbox images should be less than 800px x 600px

5. RGB

6. 72dpi

7. Consider transparency – png or gif

8. make sure all images small file size but highest quality
